Please do not use my website or services if you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions.
The following Terms and Conditions have been prepared to help you make the most of julietspilates.com
Please take a few moments to read them thoroughly.
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions and therefore users should check them regularly.
Clients are required to complete both the consent form and Health Questionnaire which contains specific health history questions. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing the exercises provided by any class which they attend and to advise of any changes to their physical well being.
Clients are required to follow the instructions of the Tutor at all times while attending a class.
Clients are required to inform Juliet (or a cover instructor) if they incur injuries or conditions, after the initial information stated on their health questionnaire.
We accept no liability for loss or damage to property of clients or for injury suffered by clients.
Advice provided by Tutors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional
Personal belongings are brought onto the Studio premises at the Student’s own risk and Juliet Nicholas does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.
Links from or to web sites outside this Website are meant for convenience only. We do not review, endorse, approve or control, and are not responsible for any sites linked from or to the Site, the content of those sites, the third parties named therein, or their products and services.
Payment for all classes must be received prior to the scheduled class date to ensure your place. Once payment has been taken there are no refunds or credits for missed sessions.
Classes are run in blocks of approx. 6 weeks. Classes cannot be carried over into a new term. If you miss a session within a course, a credit cannot be provided but all reasonable effort will be made to offer a catch up class within the same block of classes if space allows.
We reserve the right to make alterations to the classes, instructors and/or equipment. Clients will be notified in advance, when possible, of any class cancellations and credited accordingly.
Any marketing, educational or other materials of this nature whatsoever produced by Juliet Nicholas in connection with the Studio and which are made available to Members at the Studio, will at all times remain the property of Juliet Nicholas and will be subject to Juliet Nicholas’ copyright
Juliet will generally communicate with the Member by email. By providing an email address the Member consents to receiving email communications including notices pursuant to the Terms and Conditions. The Member also accepts the risk that email may not be a secure and confidential means of communication. Juliet Nicholas will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Member by email.
In these Terms and Conditions Private Lessons, Group Classes, and Courses are referred to collectively as “sessions”.
‘Clients’. ‘Members’ and ‘students’ are anyone who has completed a consent form and health questionnaire and provided their contact details with a view to attending the studio of Juliet Nicholas.
Juliet Nicholas refers to Juliets Pilates, classes, one to one’s and workshops.
Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (e.g. cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.
Collection of Information
I may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit my site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources I make available on our Site. I will collect personal identification information from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to me.
The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customise the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.
Distribution of Information
I may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. I may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorised transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these organisations for marketing purposes.
