Block 5, week 3. Sept. 11 - 18

Happy Friday everyone.

It really is life on a loop isn't it? I remember having a what's app converstion with someone saying we couldn't beleive it was Friday again, and that was 11 weeks ago.... helllllllpppppppp..... thank GOODNESS for Pilates online!!! I will be putting up  an additional post  about the remainder of this year and online dates soon.

I have also added a couple of new recorded classes for you.

I wanted to explain Mary ..... I just posted on soash meedya so I copy - "I think everyone who joins my classes online has now bought all their own equipment BUT, ever resourceful, I’d like to point out that this lovely lady’s book makes a superb Pilates block and, unlike the purpose made boring foam rectangle, you and Mary can have loads of fun after class in the kitchen. You’re welcome "

A really great week this week and my apologies for making the classes SO HARD - having acutally done a few now, I can only apologise! Got a bit carried away and standing there watching you on screen means I don't do as much so I got it a bit easy!! Having said that, I have really enjoyed doing more in the way of observing and working with you and hope you agree. I will be bolder as we go on with regards to calling you out by name in order to correct and guide so if you are not comfortable with that, please just let me know. I have decided to sometimes repeat classes so that you can anticipate and see progression - generally interacting and offering guidance and correction the first time and then leading you and recording in the next one so again, I always appreciate your comments but hope you realise that I don't just cobble it togther but put a lot of thought into what we are doing every week!!  As you know, I did 3 online courses during full on lockdown and am currently having 2 private online lessons myself weekly in addition to attending other classes online so I really do pratise what I preach. I hope you will enjoy a few tweaks and variations on different exercises as I sometimes pick up ideas and try them out.  Always learning!!!

I am always happy take requests and really appreciate the feedback as it helps me to be the best I can and identify where I need to adapt or just bask! so Thank you.

The Boring but necessary - PLEASE ALWAYS HAVE A CLEAR SPACE TO WORK IN WITH PLENTY OF LIGHT AND VENTILATION. PLEASE REMOVE ANY OBVIOUS HAZARDS. IT WOULD BE USEFUL TO ALWAYS HAVE TO HAND YOUR FLEXIBAND, BLOCK AND SOFT BALL.

By joining my online classes, you confirm you have read and agreed to the terms of my disclaimer found on my website.

Have a couple of towels handy. Really useful to roll up as a lumbar support, to pop under knees to soften straight legs, to fold up under your head etc. etc......

Week 3.  14 - 18 Sept. When it says "Just" mat - do not assume the "just" means a snooze..... "just" saying....

Monday - 9am. A hand towel. DO NOT underestimate the power of the towel!

Tuesday - 8am Just mat. Interactiave so have your screen set up and get ready to work HARD

9am. Just mat but always have your block/cushion handy

Thursday  8am. Pole -(broom handle). Interactive

                9.15Just mat
